Nick Carter is best known as a member of the pop group Backstreet Boys. He has many outstanding tattoos, each with a different meaning behind it. Nick Loves the Ocean and is active in many Water Sports. He tattoo a great white Shark on his left upper arm. Under the white shark tattoo, he also has tattoo a Chinese calligraphy Symbols "海神" that translate to "God of the Sea" or "Poseidon". It is the god of the sea in Greek mythology and identified as Neptune in Roman mythology.

Nick didn't say the reason why he tattoo "海神" on his arm, we surmised that maybe it is because as a water sports amateur, Nick thinks himself as Poseidon.
