Marcus Camby, a NBA star player, he has two Chinese characters on his right arm.
The first character on the top,:『勉』, Marcus said it means "strive to be your best , and 『族』means"love your family".
However the two combined characters are gibberish and nonsence in Chinese language. And had nothing to do with the meaning Marcus said (another Google translation ?) .
